^the hotel we stayed in was actually underconstruction and it was only opened for us. so basically we had the whole hotel to ourselves

^first dinner: hot pot. the food there is sooo cheap. one dish is only like $3
^yep thats vernon in his boxers on one of our camping nights
^our breakfast everyday, red bean buns and meat buns. so good
^we arrive at the children's home with the knitted blankets that you kgv-ers knitted!
^binbin =] the kid i was in charge of. he's had a brain surgery so he must be careful with his head. i love him, he's so funny

^it was queenie's birthday on the 15th. she made all of us feed her including mr edwards. haii so demanding lol
^went to a foster family and had to clean the windows out in the cold. As you can see, we were working in a confined space...my first time cleaning windows

then on my birthday on the 16th, we went to an impoverished village, just on the borders close to tibet

^this was our lunch, we got the chance to help cook it. These people only ate potatoes. If they were lucky, they got to eat meat once a year, they don't even get vegetables. This is because they'd rather sell their pigs for wheat and the weather they live in don't allow them to grow veggies.
^we all got to ride the horse, so fun. and the kids were so sweet, they came out from their school and sang the birthday song to me twice
our 1.5-2hrs bus ride:
